Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation – Youth Sports, Camps, and Programs offers youth sports and programs, camp programs, and adapted recreation, along with activities such as bocce, yoga programs, and Wildcat Sports & Fitness. Families can also take part in swimming at Parkview Pool and attend evening shows at The Grove. The department also offers adult sports and programs and other special interest activities.

The mission of the Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Department is to provide quality recreational and cultural programs for all age groups through innovation, effectiveness and efficiency, with activities that relate to culture and history programs. The department offers parks, facilities, programs, and services to meet the needs of the community and includes an award winning adaptive program as part of its offerings. The recreational facilities of Mayfield Village Parks and Recreation Department are described as amongst the best in Northeast Ohio, and the Recreation Department states that it offers something for everyone. The leadership team includes Parks & Recreation Director Shane McAvinew, Assistant Recreation Director Danielle Echt, Program and Facilities Manager Samantha Clark-Cartwright, and Mayor Brenda T. Bodnar. The community is described as having both an engaged, committed electorate and a sound, responsible business base.
