About

National Inventors Hall of Fame Education Programs offers several programs that combine hands-on fun and creativity with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts. Program options include Camp Invention for kindergarten through 6th grade, Club Invention for 1st through 6th grade, Leaders-in-Training for 7th through 9th grade, and the Leadership Intern Program for high school and college students. Each year, the education team collaborates with National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees to create new program curricula.

The National Inventors Hall of Fame Education Programs have been honoring the spirit of innovation and promoting inventors as role models since 1973, impacting more than 4 million children, students, educators and innovators across the nation. The organization partners with over 2,500 schools and districts nationwide and in Puerto Rico, and is founded and supported in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, along with 2,144 philanthropic partners. Its mission is to make STEM education accessible and promote innovation across the country by connecting world-changing innovators with today’s youth and promoting innovation for all ages in all communities.

The education and program leadership team includes Rachelle Albrechta (Director of Program Development), Jayme Cellitioci (Senior Director of Education), Ashley Giordano (Manager of Program Management), Susie Duchon (Education Specialist), Rachel Lutes (Curriculum Writer), Emily Mitchell (Senior Content Writer), Sara Pompeo (Editor), Maggie Saine (Spanish Services Lead & Education Specialist), and Jennifer Sitton (Director of Science & Product Development). Team members hold a range of credentials, including degrees in art education, education as a gifted intervention specialist, psychology, biology, creativity and change leadership, history, museum studies, middle childhood education with a focus in mathematics and ELA, advertising, professional and technical writing with a focus in journalism, psychology, Spanish, biopsychology, cell and organismal biology, and biology specializing in science education, as well as training as a Creative Education Foundation Ideator, certification as a Dream Manager, and a professional certificate in free-choice learning.
