Ravenna Parks and Recreation Youth Programs include activities such as camp, sports, games, prizes, crafts, and special events. The program offers an Easter Egg Hunt, a Drive-Thru Trick or Treat, a Touch-A-Truck experience, and hunts for ages 1–18 as part of its youth events.

The Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The Drive-Thru Trick or Treat at City Park is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Marlene Watt Memorial POT O’ GOLD Poker run/walk is scheduled for March 14, 2026, with same-day registration from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., the event start at 9:00 a.m., and an awards ceremony at 10:30 a.m. The Easter Eggstravaganza event includes games and prizes, crafts, Touch-A-Truck, meeting the Easter Bunny, and hunts for ages 1–18.

Ravenna Parks and Recreation Youth Programs are led by Chris Bundy, Parks & Recreation Director; Jacob Spina, Program Supervisor; and Bob Denison, Park Supervisor. Staff credentials include Chris Bundy, CPRP. The stated mission is to provide residents and visitors a clean, safe, enjoyable and well operated park system while offering a multitude of diverse programs for all ages throughout the year.

Ravenna Parks and Recreation partners with many local businesses to bring fun, family friendly programs for all ages to the community. All proceeds from the Marlene Watt Memorial Event go towards the Ravenna Parks and Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund, which has enabled many children to attend camp, sports and other activities who could not have otherwise afforded to do so. Moody’s Investors Service upgraded the issuer rating for the City of Ravenna from A3 to A1.
