CORS Head Start

CORS Head Start offers early childhood education led by professional educators in 17 licensed centers. The program uses research-based curricula and conducts ongoing developmental assessments throughout the year. Each classroom is staffed with degreed teachers who provide individualized support and value the involvement of parents in a collaborative environment.

Since 1975, the Council on Rural Services (CORS) has excelled in providing high quality early childhood education to families in West Central Ohio and has supported more than 30,000 children over the years. The program’s mission is to prepare each child for success, starting from their first day of school and continuing through every step of their education. Head Start is open to all families, accepting children from birth to five years old, including those with special needs. Early Head Start serves pregnant women and infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years, and Head Start serves preschoolers ages 3–5 years.
