About
Wee Care Learning Center offers hands-on activities, engaging experiences, purposeful play, and structured activities throughout the day. Children take part in special events such as Lincoln Ridge, Fancy Friday, graduation, summer field trips, outdoor water play, local field trips, and large group activities. • Price: Non-Toilet Trained Children weekly fee (all 5 days): $225.00 per week; Preschool & School Age (fully toilet trained): First Child $180.00 per week, Daily Fee 1–4 days $36.00 per day, Hourly Fee 1–4 hours per day $5.75 per hour; Second Child (same family) $135.00 per week, Daily Fee 1–4 days $27.00 per day, Hourly Fee 1–4 hours per day $4.25 per day; Third Child (same family) $105.00 per week, Daily Fee 1–4 days $21.00 per day, Hourly Fee 1–4 hours per day $3.25 per day; $42 registration fee upon enrollment; only full-time spots are available for infants.
Wee Care Learning Center has been nurturing growth in a safe, engaging environment since 1979. The curriculum begins in infant rooms with monthly lessons, continues in toddler rooms with bi-weekly lessons, and in preschool rooms uses the Creative Curriculum to plan weekly activities that focus on literacy, math, social skills, and more. Younger preschool rooms support potty training, and the Pre-K program is for students who are eligible for Kindergarten the following school year and introduces essential Kindergarten readiness skills. The Safe Kids Program offers before and after school care with bussing to and from VWCS, VW ECC, and Thomas Edison, and during the summer it offers all-day care with outdoor water play, local field trips, and large group activities. Staff members are at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma, can pass a background check, and are described as having a positive, friendly, and nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with children. Wee Care Learning Center is a Proud United Way Agency and is described as a Proud United Way Agency in its community involvement.
