Enchanted Care Learning Center

Enchanted Care Learning Center offers children activities such as outdoor play, creative activities, dance, games, and other physical activities. Children also take part in drawing, singing, dancing, building structures, observing nature, and mixing materials as part of the program’s daily experiences. Classrooms use the Links to Learning proprietary curriculum developed by education experts, with seven core subject areas identified for students to master, and integration of Spanish throughout the day to expose students to a second language.

The program provides high-quality preschool education, before and after care, and summer camp for children in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. Classrooms combine research-based instruction with small group learning and individualized support, and instructional experts cultivate strong relationships, recognize each child’s unique strengths, and guide students through challenges that build critical thinking. Children in the program develop empathy, responsibility, and respect, and students consistently earn some of the highest scores among independent schools on the Comprehensive Testing Program. The program uses the Links 2 Home app to share learning updates with families and maintains a culture of care that emphasizes respectful language and an inclusive environment.

Teachers participate in ongoing professional development, including child abuse awareness and prevention, CPR, allergy protocol, first aid, proper supervision, and behavior management, and they go through extensive background checks and interviews. Safety measures include keypad access at the front entrance, automatically locked exterior doors, enclosed playgrounds, strict visitor check-in with ID and visitor badges, strict policies so only approved adults with prior authorization and ID can pick up a child, and a face-to-name rule so each child is accounted for at all times.

Enchanted Care Learning Center has educated 20,000 students and has more than 30 years of leadership. The program is dedicated to providing the communities of Polaris, Brooksedge Meadows, Medallion Golf Club, and Genoa with an educational experience grounded in academic excellence and genuine care, and is also described as dedicated to providing these communities with an educational experience.

Parents describe their experiences in several ways. One parent shares that their child’s development continues to grow at Enchanted Care in Westerville and that they have recommended the child care center to many family and friends. Another parent notes that teachers know all of the kids’ names, even if they are not in their direct care or classroom, and that the mix of academics and social-emotional learning matches what their child needs.
