About
Impact Jiu Jitsu Youth Program includes play-based classes for ages 4-6, technical Jiu Jitsu training for ages 7-8, and age- and skill-appropriate Jiu Jitsu for ages 9-12. The classes cover team values such as respect, basic positions and movements, Jiu Jitsu language, grappling-specific body movements, takedowns, positions, transitions, age-appropriate submissions, competition skills, technique, drilling, live rolling, and tournament preparation.
Programs
- Pups — Ages 4-6 · Tuesday & Thursday: 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. · Play-based class. Students learn team values (respect), basic positions and movements, Jiu Jitsu language, and grappling-specific body movements.
- Cubs — Ages 7-8 · Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. · Technical Jiu Jitsu training covering fundamentals from takedowns, positions, and transitions to age appropriate submissions and competition skills.
- Juniors — Ages 9-12 · Monday & Wednesday: 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.; Friday: 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. · Age and skill appropriate Jiu Jitsu that translates directly to the adult curriculum, with more time on technique, drilling, live rolling, and tournament preparation.
