About
RedTail Junior Golf Camp offers on-course play along with comprehensive instruction that covers full-swing, short game, rules and etiquette, sportsmanship, and scoring. Camp options include Half-Day, Full-Day, Advanced Half-Day, and Elite Full-Day sessions, with some camps incorporating physical development and functional performance training, Trackman swing analysis, the Trackman Junior Combine, and a 9 hole medal play tournament. All campers receive a RedTail Junior Gift Pack that includes a golf shirt, golf balls, golf glove, hat, and additional items, with Advanced Half-Day and Elite Full-Day campers also receiving a USGA rule book.

The Half-Day Junior Camp is offered every week of the summer starting in the second week of June and during spring break each year, normally the third week in March, and runs Monday–Friday with an AM session from 9am–1pm. The Full-Day Junior Golf Camp is offered in the summer only, runs Monday–Friday from 8am–3pm, includes greens fees in the price, and expects campers to be prepared to play on the golf course daily. The Advanced Half-Day Junior Camp runs Monday–Friday from 12pm–4pm on a limited summer schedule, includes a more intense instructional program with physical development and functional performance training, and ends each week with a 9 hole medal play tournament under more serious tournament conditions, with greens fees included.
The Elite Full-Day Junior Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9am–4pm on a very limited summer schedule, is limited to 16 campers per session, and requires approval from the RYG Junior Staff before sign-up. Elite Full-Day campers engage in on-course play every day, take part in demanding physical development and functional performance training, receive individual instruction that evaluates each player’s game to create a customized lesson plan, and participate in Trackman swing analysis and the Trackman Junior Combine, with all greens fees included in the camp price. For Full-Day, Advanced Half-Day, and Elite Full-Day camps, lunch is not included in the camp fee; campers may bring a bag lunch that can be refrigerated if needed or purchase lunch at Bunker’s Grill each day.
The program’s stated mission for the Half-Day Camp is to introduce and improve the fundamentals of golf in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere while emphasizing confidence and team-building skills in a positive learning environment. RedTail Junior Golf Camp also offers a Junior Camp Referral Bonus where families can refer a friend and receive RedTail dollars, and a Jr. Multi-Camp Discount that provides $30 off each additional camp, with the discount applying across any combination of the four camp types. RedTail also offers a Junior Club/Academy and clinics for ages 4 to 17.
