Special Olympics Oregon offers sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The program includes events such as a 5k, the Polar Plunge, and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Special Olympics Oregon uses sports training and competition to grow acceptance and inclusion of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. It brings year-round sports training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and serves Oregon’s largest disability population by celebrating their abilities. The program includes Unified Champion Schools programs with Inclusive Youth Leadership and Whole School Engagement, as well as SOOR Active, Healthy Athletes, and an Athlete Leadership Council. Special Olympics Oregon also features a Polar Plunge event and maintains an Events Calendar.
