Tetherow Golf Academy Lessons, Clinics & Camps offers golf lessons, clinics, and camps that cover full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and on-course playing. The program also includes 9-Hole play days, golf fitness, and club fitting, using the latest swing technology and video. Instruction follows the Tetherow 360 approach, which starts with shots around the green and progressively moves backward as skills improve, with golf professional staff tracking progress through fun drills and 9-Hole play days.
• Ages: 5–19 years old
• Schedule: Programs last 4 weeks on Tuesday afternoons, with 2025 programming running throughout the golf season.
The program takes place at a state-of-the-art training facility with two hitting bays that overlook the range and offer mountain views, with doors that open for an outdoor experience and close with nets for indoor practice. The facility also includes a covered outdoor hitting bay with overhead heaters and is open year round. The golf course used for play is an award-winning 18-hole championship course designed by David McLay Kidd, and Tetherow Resort encompasses 700 acres bordering the Deschutes National Forest.
The leadership team includes Hunter Hidalgo, Director of Golf; Nicole Ward, Golf Operations Manager; Kevin Anderson, First Assistant Golf Professional; and James Harper, Assistant Golf Professional at Tetherow Academy. Staff credentials include Hunter Hidalgo, TPI Level 1 Certified and a PGA Class A Member; Nicole Ward, a PGA Class A Member with specialized training in Trackman; and James Harper, TPI Level 1 Certified and a Level 1 PGA Associate. The Tetherow golf course has been named one of Golfweek’s 2025 Top Resort Golf Courses in the U.S.
