River Road Park & Recreation District Gymnastics offers Preschool Open Gym, School Age Open Gym, Fabulous Friday Open Gym, and private gymnastics lessons. At Preschool Open Gym, children use tumbling and in-ground trampolines, bars, rings, beams, and fun shaped mats, with adults accompanying them. The gymnastics center is home of Gymnastics Northwest and includes all Olympic apparatus, with professional coaches providing a complete, safe, and well-designed program, and the gym is loaded with great equipment.

• Ages: Walking–12 years old
• Schedule: Ongoing monthly classes; Preschool Open Gym on Wednesdays 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.; School Age Open Gym and Fabulous Friday Open Gym on Fridays 7:00–8:30 p.m.
• Price: Preschool Open Gym $6 per child; School Age Open Gym and Fabulous Friday Open Gym $6 per child; private lessons $50 for 1 hour, $40 for 3/4 hour, and $25 for 1/2 hour; tuition is due the first business day of every month and can be paid online or by calling 541-688-8955 with a credit card.

All classes run on a monthly basis and are ongoing, and gymnasts can be tested into any skill level with the approval of the head coach. Preschool Open Gym is for ages walking–5, and adults must accompany their children with a maximum of two children per adult. School Age Open Gym and Fabulous Friday Open Gym are for ages 6–12, and there are no refunds or credits for absenteeism or inclement weather. There is no online registration available for gymnastics classes.

The program is led by Gymnastics Supervisor Julie Eagen, with board members Michael Lambros, Craig Gibons, Sharon Purdy, Bob Blanchard, and Robin Avidan. River Road Park and Recreation District states that its mission is to provide exceptional park and recreation facilities, programs, and services to enhance the livability of the River Road community and the people it serves. The district states that it strives to develop and establish positive relationships with the community by fostering an atmosphere and environment of cooperation, trust, and resourcefulness with patrons, coworkers, and other organizations. A Gymnastics Scholarship program provides financial assistance to eligible families, making monthly dues more accessible for children. Park hours are listed as sunrise to sunset.
