About
Lane Youth Soccer Association offers youth soccer through fall and spring outdoor seasons, along with a week-long summer camp in August and a summer camp shootout. The program includes co-ed teams and games that follow FIFA laws with modifications at younger ages to keep the game fun for all. Soccer is taught within a co-ed environment by trained, volunteer coaches and referees.
• Ages: 4–19 years old
• Schedule: Most teams practice Tuesday and Thursday evenings around 5:30 for about one hour, with most games on Saturday mornings; spring season games run April 4th–May 16th, and the summer camp is a week-long camp in August.
• Price: Spring 2026 season early registration is $150 for U6–U14 and $80 for U5.
Lane Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that offers youth soccer programs throughout greater Lane County, Oregon, and operates with the support of dedicated volunteers. All coaches, officials, team managers, and any volunteer with direct contact with children must complete a thorough background check and receive training within their position, and games are officiated by referees trained and certified with a USSF approved program. All coaches are trained every season to create a fun, inviting environment on the field, and Air Quality Index information is provided.
The program follows a Safe Fair Fun philosophy, balances teams for skill, and uses a no slaughter rule in games. All children, regardless of experience, ability, or family income, are welcome to register, with no try-outs required and players never cut. All players have the opportunity to play a minimum of one-half of all games they attend, uniforms are available, and Lane Youth Soccer Association never schedules Sunday games. Strong financial assistance is offered for those in need, and parent involvement is encouraged at all practices and games. Lane Youth Soccer Association states that it is not affiliated with AYSO and notes that early registration is available for the Spring 2026 season.
