U.S. Baseball Academy – Winter Baseball Camp (Eugene, OR) is a four-week instruction program that includes specific training in hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, and baserunning. The winter baseball camp in Eugene is directed by Bushnell University assistant coach Ethan Stacy in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. The program features a low player-coach ratio and individual attention in a small-group atmosphere, with each location promising a low player-coach ratio and a teaching staff of coaches from the local area. A Triple Play special offers a choice of three skill sessions (hitting, pitching, catching, or fielding/baserunning) for 18 hours of instruction. U.S. Baseball Academy is described as the nation’s largest network of instructional programs, with more than 225 camps nationwide and operations in 45 states, and as a national program with a local touch. Its nationally acclaimed off-season training program is locally hosted by baseball coaches in the Eugene area. The program has served more than a quarter million players over the last 10 years and was developed by a national coaching and advisory staff that includes Major League players Adam Eaton, Travis Shaw, and Craig Stammen.
