Gresham Youth Football Association offers flag football, tackle football, and a cheer program. Activities include K–2nd, 3rd–4th, and 5th–6th grade flag football in a 7-on-7 modified format on a half field, 3rd and 4th grade rookie tackle in a 7-on-7 modified half-field format, 5th and 6th grade 11-on-11 full-field full tackle, and 7th and 8th grade JV and Varsity 11-on-11 full-field full tackle. The program also runs football camps and coaching clinics.

Gresham Youth Football Association (GYFA) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. GYFA is part of the Tualatin Valley Youth Football League (TVYFL) and works with the Gresham High School Varsity Head Football Coach. GYFA welcomes students entering K through 8th grade each fall who reside in the Gresham High School boundary area. The organization emphasizes common terminology, offensive schemes, and defensive formations aligned with the Gresham School District high school program. GYFA is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the development of football skills, cheer, and character for Gresham area student-athletes.
By registering, parents or guardians agree to take a shift in the snack shack and help with other game-day activities, and these volunteer shifts can be covered by a proxy over 18 years old. Gresham Youth Football is looking for dedicated volunteers for various leadership roles within the association, and special thanks are given to sponsors, with families encouraged to support those sponsors. Junior Coach Registration is available for high school students who want to help coach alongside GYFA coaches. Most GYFA upper games are announced and use a PA at the field. The organization uses Facebook (Gresham Youth Football Association) and Instagram (gyfa_nation), and its website is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software and follows the Gresham Youth Football Association privacy policy.
