About
Gresham Youth Football Association offers flag football for K-2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade. It also offers rookie tackle football for 3rd and 4th grade, full tackle football for 5th and 6th grade, JV and Varsity football for 7th and 8th grade, and cheer for 3rd through 8th grade.
Programs
- Flag football (K-2) — K-2nd grade
- Flag football (3rd-4th grade) — 3rd & 4th grade · 3rd & 4th-grade Flag football athletes are introduced/continue to learn football & the concepts with 7 on 7 modified and play on a half field.
- Flag football (5th-6th grade) — 5th & 6th grade · 5th & 6th-grade Flag football athletes are introduced/continue to learn football & the concepts with 7 on 7 modified and play on a half field.
- Rookie tackle football (3rd-4th grade) — 3rd & 4th grade · 3rd & 4th-grade athletes are introduced to football & the concepts with 7 on 7 modified, half field, rookie tackle.
- Full tackle football (5th-6th grade) — 5th & 6th grade · 5th & 6th-grade athletes experience 11 on 11 full field, full tackle.
- JV and Varsity football (7th-8th grade) — 7th & 8th grade · 7th & 8th- JV and Varsity, will also play 11 on 11 full field, full tackle.
- Cheer — 3rd to 8th grade

About the provider
GYFA is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the development of football skills, cheer, and character for Gresham area student-athletes. It welcomes students entering K through 8th grade each fall who reside in the Gresham High School boundary area and is part of the Tualatin Valley Youth Football League (TVYFL).
We welcome students entering the K through 8th grade each fall, who reside in the Gresham High School boundary area. GYFA is part of the Tualatin Valley Youth Football League (TVYFL). The home field is the turf field at Gresham High School where home games are played.
