Mound Time Baseball

Mound Time Baseball offers skill camps, seasonal baseball camps, and seasonal camps including Summer Break Camp and Christmas Break Camp. The program provides position-specific classes, including hitting, pitching, and fielding classes, as well as softball hitting classes. It also offers individual lessons, group and private training classes, SPARQ Training, Nike SPARQ and quickness training, weight lifting, cage rentals, and Spring, Summer, and Fall Baseball teams, including college preparatory baseball teams and Fall Baseball.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Lessons are 50 minutes to 1 hour.
• Price: Mound Time runs approximately 20 camps per year, usually ranging in cost from $25–$199.

Mound Time Baseball was established in 2005. Its mission is to provide and educate the baseball community with an ethical service that delivers the background and experience needed to enhance the lives of youth and parents. Mound Time is described as “Oregon's Most Successful and Leading Baseball Training Program” and offers nationally-recognized college preparatory baseball teams, as well as year-round training for every age group for pitching, hitting, fielding, and SPARQ (strength and agility). Camp registration is first come, first serve, and families have the option to schedule a one-time evaluation lesson before committing to a package of lessons.

One parent, Ron and Debbie S., report that their child’s control, velocity, and movement improved significantly after working with Greg for a little over 1½ years, and they describe Greg as a role model for their son. The program’s Frequently Asked Questions section states, “It is important to make sure your child is comfortable and that it is something they want to do.”
