Klamath Outdoor Science School offers Residential Outdoor School, Non-Residential Outdoor School, Overnight Programs, and Field Trips. Field Trips include no-cost programs in a 3-part series for ecology, geology, or fire ecology, plus free field trips to Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Overnight Programs can be 2, 3, or 4 days and can include time at camp or at another site before or after the overnight stay.
Programs
- Residential Outdoor School — 2nd-8th grade; with enough notice, most school-aged youth
- Non-Residential Outdoor School — 2nd-8th grade; with enough notice, most school-aged youth
- Overnight Programs — grades other than 5th/6th, homeschool groups, mixed-grade classes, and schools from California · 2, 3, or 4-day custom overnight program; classes can spend the whole visit at camp or visit another site before/after the overnight stay.
- Field Trips — 3rd-6th grade classes; Grades 2-8 for Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge field trips · No-cost field trip programs; offered in 3-part series for ecology, geology, or fire ecology, plus free refuge field trips.

About the provider
Klamath Outdoor Science School is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created in 2004. It has provided outdoor and environmental education in Southern Oregon since 2004 and gives free field trips to classes throughout Klamath County. Programs are co-led by the Executive Director, Program Coordinator, Outdoor Science Instructors, and Activity Leaders. Its mission is to inspire a deep appreciation for natural resources, community, and the arts through hands-on, outdoor education.
Cell phone service at camp is spotty. Communications from parents are discouraged. Students must have a completed health form and liability waiver on file. Students should not bring any food except lunch for the first day.
