Klamath Outdoor Science School offers Residential Outdoor School, Overnight Programs, Summer Camps, and Field Trips. About the provider
Klamath Outdoor Science School was created in 2004. Its mission is to inspire a deep appreciation for natural resources, community, and the arts through hands-on, outdoor education.
KOSS offers custom 1, 2, and 3 night overnight programs, and overnight programs can take place entirely at camp or include a field trip to another site. For overnight programs, a minimum of two chaperones per yurt is required; 4 chaperones including teachers are required if using 2 yurts, 8 if using 4 yurts, and 1 adult is required per every 10 students. Students must have a completed health form and liability waiver on file. The school serves healthy, kid-friendly food; students must bring lunch on the first day and should not bring any food except lunch for the first day.
