Junior Golf and Junior Golf Camps include Junior Golf, Junior Golf Camps, and Golf. The program also includes an Ice Cream Social & Swap Meet where families can swap, sell, or trade junior golf clubs and enjoy ice cream.
• Schedule: Junior Golf Club meets on Fridays during the junior golf club season, and Junior Golf Camp runs as a 4-day camp with sessions offered in June, July, and August.
La Grande Country Club, which runs these programs, is a member-owned private golf course with a highly regarded nine-hole layout, tree-lined fairways, elevated postage stamp greens, and total yardage of 6500 yards. The Junior Golf Club is open to La Grande Country Club members’ kids and grandkids, and the Junior Golf Camp is open to both members and non-members. La Grande Country Club was established in 1924 and opened at its present location in 1928. Its mission is to provide an exceptional experience by combining its location with facilities, programs, and services for the enjoyment of its members. The club is also involved in the Oregon Trail Sister Program and the Eastside Senior Golf Association.
