About
La Grande High School Basketball Day Camps focus on fundamental basketball skill training, including individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers take part in drills designed for age-appropriate shooting or dribbling focus skill training, as well as leadership training, competition, and games. The camp runs as a Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp in the summer of 2026.

• Schedule: June 17–19, 2026, as a day camp from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with first-day check-in at 8:30 am

The daily schedule includes a morning welcome and warm-ups at 9:00 am, followed by a morning drill session focused on age-appropriate shooting or dribbling, a lunch break at 12:00 pm, and an afternoon program starting at 12:45 pm with an NBC theme, leadership training, and discussion groups. Competition and games begin at 1:30 pm, with camper pick-up at 3:00 pm. Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience, and the approximate staff-to-camper ratio is 1:10.
Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch each day, a clearly labeled basketball, a water bottle, and a completed online medical release waiver, along with their own athletic equipment and well-broken-in basketball shoes. NBC Camps states that it is not responsible for lost or stolen items, and asks that any allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical concerns be included on the registration so staff can be prepared. Day camps are described as very different from the overnight camp hosted at Eastern Oregon University and as a lighter version of the camp curriculum, and junior camps are described as being for younger or more beginning athletes and running at a pace more suitable for these age groups.
