NBC Basketball Camp at La Grande High School is a basketball day camp that runs as a Complete Skills Junior Basketball Camp. Campers take part in individual offense and defense drills, shooting practice, team skills, games and tournaments, small group discussions, and leadership training.
• Ages: 8–13 years old
• Schedule: Complete Skills Junior BB Day Camp from 06/17/26–06/19/26, with camp hours from 9:00am–3:00pm daily
• Price: $265 ($265 Tuition + $37 Registration Fee). Pricing is subject to change based on availability. Additional fees may apply.
On the first day, camp check-in runs from 8:30–9:00am, followed by a camper/parent orientation from 9:05–9:15am, and the final day includes a closing program from 2:30–3:00pm. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch each day, any needed snacks, a basketball labeled with their name, a water bottle, and a completed medical release waiver. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability, and Complete Skills Day Camps emphasize skill development, intensity, enthusiasm, leadership, and teamwork.
NBC Camps selects coaches based on integrity, character, work ethic, and willingness to invest in athletes, and works to hire college players and coaches along with high school coaches who are teachers of the game. NBC stands for Nothing Beats Commitment and has been running camps since 1971, with full-time staff working year-round on NBC Camps. The camp uses the T.E.C. Method (Teach, Encourage, Correct), the FAB 4 (Protect the ball; Play with quickness and intensity; Play smart; Finish the play), and the LIFE 4 (Guard your heart; Live with love & intentionality; Be smart by seeking out wisdom; Finish strong, never give up). The mission of the camps includes a focus on confidence, goal setting, mental toughness, leadership, intensity, athletic and life skill mastery, the importance of personal faith, and Christian values of integrity and compassion, and that each person is a miracle. Unique features include encouraging coaches who model Christian values of service, kindness, and compassion, solid fundamental teaching in a fun and exciting camp setting, a camp t-shirt, and skill correction and advice for working on skills after camp ends, as well as optional Hoopgear packages for pre-purchase and flexible cancellation options.
