• Schedule: 5-day, 4-night camps with meals and accommodations, and day camps from 9am–4pm
For over 34 years, PGC Basketball has been the worldwide leader in teaching players how to think the game, be a leader, and run the show. Over 155,000 players and 11,500 coaches have attended a PGC camp over the past 34 plus years, and over 20,000 players attend each year. PGC offers over 200 camps across North America in the summer and fall for players from 4th grade to college and the pros, and Playmaker College is recommended prior to Scoring College or Point Guard College whenever possible. PGC Basketball states its mission as: “To Inspire and Equip Every Player & Coach Everywhere.”
PGC Basketball Camps offers a 3-camp pass that provides 3 camps for the price of 2, a 33% savings, and also advertises a limited-time offer to get 3 camps for less than the price of 2. The program includes the PGC Promise money-back guarantee and the “Dicky D. Downright Crazy Guarantee,” which offers a full refund plus $500 cash if a participant is not satisfied.
Over the past decade, PGC has provided more than $2.5 million in financial assistance to players and has contributed to initiatives locally and globally. In 2025, 91 PGC grads played in the Division 1 NCAA Tournament, 16 PGC grads were playing in the NBA and WNBA, and players flew in from over 65 countries around the world to attend PGC. Testimonials from players, parents, and coaches describe PGC as the best basketball experience of their lives, life changing, completely inspiring, and a positive place where failure is encouraged. Parents and coaches report that participants gained confidence, leadership skills, and valuable information in just five days, and several grads note that they learned more in one week at PGC than in many years of basketball. Jeremy Lin, a 9-year NBA veteran, states that Point Guard College teaches players to think the game, Coach John Wooden is quoted as saying that Point Guard College will greatly improve the play of any aspiring player, and former New York Knicks assistant coach Greg Brittenham recommends Point Guard College as the one camp to attend in the summer.
