Explorer Camp includes outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, biking, and yoga, along with creative time for art and music. A sample week includes kayaking and yoga on Monday, art and on-site biking on Tuesday, biking and yoga on Wednesday, music and stand-up paddleboarding on Thursday, and hiking and art on Friday. Storytime yoga is also part of the program.

Explorer Camp is part of Avid4 Adventure’s one-week Explorer summer camps for 5 and 6 year olds entering Kindergarten or 1st Grade, with a camper to staff ratio of 5:1. Parents and campers meet staff at a consistent location daily, and Avid4 Adventure transports campers to recreation areas for the specific adventure sport and returns groups for afternoon pick up.
