Stand Up Paddleboarding Camp focuses on stand up paddleboarding and related on-water skills. Campers practice paddle strokes and take part in team building games. The program also includes instruction in swim rescue, recovering a lost board, and towing an injured paddler.

Stand Up Paddleboarding Camp is staffed by highly trained instructors, and all Avid4 instructors are 18 and older with serious safety and skills training. The organization states, “We believe in the transformative power of the outdoors.” Avid4 Adventure’s leadership includes founder David Secunda, a former president of the Outdoor Industry Association and a 25-year veteran of the outdoor education industry. The program is accredited by the American Camp Association, is a Certified B Corp, and has been named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps. Avid4 Adventure operates under a Special Use authorization from the National Forest Service and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Campers are grouped by grade range, either 2nd–4th graders or 5th–7th graders, and are transported to authentic local recreation areas with access to top-of-the-line gear specifically sized for kids. Every activity starts with a discussion about the risks involved, how to prevent them, and how to respond if something goes wrong.
