About

Bethany Athletic Club Summer Camp includes activities such as field trips, swim lessons, swimming, tag, soccer, kids’ classes, crafts, board games, and coloring. Campers are organized into two groups called Camp Adventure and Camp Explore/Camp Explorer, and each group has scheduled swim times and field trip days. When children choose not to go on a field trip, they stay at Kid Central with staff and have activities planned.

Camp Adventure for ages 5–7 has swimming from 10:00 AM–11:00 AM, and Camp Explorer for ages 8–12 has swimming from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM. Field trips are scheduled on Tuesday for Camp Adventure and Thursday for Camp Explore, and are mostly 2 hours long, with the earliest starting at 10:00 AM and the latest ending at 3:00 PM. Typical field trip staffing uses a ratio of 1 staff to 5 children, and kids are separated into small groups on field trips so each staff member closely supervises their assigned group. The camp continues enrolling each week for 30 kids per group, with field trips capped at 23 kids per group. Two snacks are provided each day at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and campers may bring lunch from home or purchase lunch from the Bistro for $50 per week. Swim lessons are offered once per week in 30-minute sessions and are described as age-appropriate and focused on skill development, water safety, and building confidence in the pool in a fun and supportive environment. Families are asked to send water bottles, shoes, a towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, and an extra bag for wet clothes, and parents may pack additional snacks. Kids may bring cash to purchase from the Bistro and are asked to buy items only during snack or lunch times.

Bethany Athletic Club has been a central part of improving the quality of members’ lives since 2015. Its mission is to enrich the quality of life of its members by providing a fun, inviting, and family-friendly environment meant to find the athlete in everyone.
