BaxterSports Camps

BaxterSports Camps offers summer camps, spring break camps, winter break camps, no school day camps, fall and winter sports camps, after school enrichment classes, and Hoops with Coach Donnell. The summer camps run every week of the summer from June through August, and the no school day camps run 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

About the provider

BaxterSports Camps says it has been operating since 2008. The leadership team includes Brian Baxter, Tiare Farris, Blake Jackson, Dupree, Jake Weiss, and Donnell. The program says it aims to create a community environment, develop a life-long love of sport and activity, provide a continuing and varied sporting experience for the community, use a holistic approach to sports, and balance directed and exploratory learning. It says summer camps have received NW Kids Magazine's "Best Summer Camp" award eight years in a row.

Campers are grouped by age range and generally placed in small groups with kids their own age and skill level. The site says the staff offer fun, safe, and nurturing yet challenging camps and clinics. No School Day Camps are offered when PPS schools have no school.
