Since 2013, BaxterSports has consecutively received NW Kids Magazine's "Best Summer Camp" award. BaxterSports has been doing this since 2008 and offers camps for grades K-8 every week of the summer, as well as sessions over both Spring and Winter Break. The program describes itself as Portland’s premier youth athletic program offering a holistic approach to teaching and coaching kids, including techniques and tactics of sports, positivity, good nutrition, and the importance of community, with equal focus on fun and fitness and values of Responsibility, Inclusivity, Gratitude, Heart, and Teamwork. BaxterSports states that it stresses nutrition, proper stretching, positive thinking, the mental game, skill-building, learning the game, and creating a sense of community, and that campers are grouped by age range, generally in small groups with kids their own age and skill level.

The leadership team includes Brian Baxter as Owner, Director, and Sports Psychologist; Tiare Farris as Executive Assistant; Blake Jackson as Director of Programing and Staffing; Dupree as Director of Coaching; and Jake Weiss as Head Coach and Program Director.
