BodyVox Youth Programming

BodyVox Youth Programming offers youth programming for students ages 3-20. It also includes Portland Public School Days at BodyVox, a full day of programming during PPS Teacher Work Day for elementary aged students, and the Winter Showcase, which is a showcase of what students have learned this semester.

Programs

• Youth Programming — students ages 3-20 · Youth program held in brand new studios; scholarships based on need are provided.
• Portland Public School Days at BodyVox — elementary aged students · $50 · Full day of programming during PPS Teacher Work Day. No need to be a student currently enrolled in the program. All are welcome.
• Winter Showcase — BodyVox youth students and Junior Artist Generator dancers · Showcase of what students have learned this semester.
• Junior Artist Generator Program (JAG) — high school and gap year dancers · Pre-professional program for dancers interested in pursuing a career in dance.

About the provider

BodyVox dance center has four studios, and two of them are dedicated to youth programming. The youth program is held in brand new studios with sprung floors, Marley surface, brand new mirrors, and state of the art sound systems. BodyVox provides accessible dance education to all, and scholarships are based on need.
