Grace Art Camp

Grace Art Camp offers summer camp with art studios, stories, a cultural focus, and a weekly celebration. The summer program runs Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a 4-day camp also offered and extended hours available. Younger campers must be 4 by the start of camp and accustomed to a full-day program.

At a glance

• General schedule: Summer camp includes 9:00am-3:00pm days, with check-in at 8:45 am and extended hours available. Campers gather in color groups, have morning assembly, morning studio, lunch/recess and midday assembly, afternoon studios, and afternoon assembly. Monday-Tuesday campers rotate through eight art studios; Wednesday-Friday older campers choose AM and PM studios. Friday includes a celebration at 2:30 pm.

About the provider

Grace Institute was established in 1995, and Grace Art Camp has focused on awareness through art, culture, and story since 1997. Ashley Klump is the Executive Director and Camp Director, Susan Gray is the Bookkeeper and Business Manager, and Ray Apthorp is the Registrar and Operations Manager. Grace Art Camp was voted Best Summer Camp in the Arts and Crafts category for 2021 and received that honor in 2019 and 2020. Grace Institute’s mission is intercultural humility and learning in an open and inclusive community.

All campers must be at least 4 years old and less than 13 years old during camp. Campers not picked up by 3:10 pm will be added to Extended Hours and billed $30 per afternoon. Cancellation/refund deadlines for Summer Camp are on or before April 1. There is a nonrefundable $30 fee for each scholarship applicant.
