About the provider
Jennifer Mercede has taught swimming at the Multnomah Athletic Club since 2009. In January 2022, she became the first woman in Oregon to complete an official Ice Mile. She is a Level 3 certified Masters coach and is CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard trained and certified.
Class size is typically 2-3 students of similar skill level per class; in some cases there may be a 4th student or just one. Swimmers are matched based on who registers. If a child has not worked with Jennifer before, the parent is asked to fill out a form, send a short video, complete a waiver, and send payment. Siblings of different skill levels may be in separate time slots. Adventure Swim class capacity is limited and swimmers must be approved.
