Lewis & Clark Athletics Youth Sports Camps and Clinics offers sport-specific camps, clinics, and tournaments across softball, swimming, basketball, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, football, rowing, soccer, and baseball. Activities include options such as softball pitching, prospect, all-skills, Otter Pup, Huskies, and winter softball camps; a Nike swim camp; men’s and women’s basketball camps including Nike-sponsored sessions and the Click Clack Camp For Girl Hoopers; women’s lacrosse skills and all-skills camps plus a PNW Native and Lewis & Clark lacrosse clinic; UTR Jr. Circuit tennis tournaments and Nike Tennis Camps; volleyball junior prospect and NIKE US Sports volleyball all skills camps; football showcase, clinic, and youth camps; the Stumptown Sprints indoor rowing race; men’s and women’s soccer finishing ID camps; and multiple baseball skills, team, youth summer, and Moundtime team camps.

• Schedule: Single-day, multi-day, and recurring weekly sessions offered throughout the year, with options that include morning, daytime, afternoon, and evening schedules

Many camps and clinics are organized by grade level, including options for elementary, middle school, high school, and junior college participants, and some activities are described as day or overnight. Several programs are Nike-sponsored, including men’s basketball camps, a swim camp for competitive swimmers, Nike Tennis Camps at Lewis & Clark College, and NIKE US Sports volleyball all skills camps, and the Nike Tennis Camps offer a 20% discount for family members of Lewis & Clark staff and faculty. The Click Clack Camp For Girl Hoopers is a free basketball skills camp for girls ages 8–12 and is hosted by former WNBA player and coach Jacki Gemelos and former Nike brand leader Lauren Duletzke. The PNW Native and Lewis & Clark lacrosse clinic is described as a free clinic, and the UTR Jr. Circuit tennis tournaments for ages 5–17 run on multiple weekends from May through December from 8am–8pm.

The Lewis & Clark softball camp staff has coaching experience at all levels of softball, and coaches in the department are described as educators committed to developing their student-athletes by teaching life-long positive habits, leadership skills, accountability, and teamwork through competitive sport. Women’s basketball camps include a curriculum for intermediate and advanced players at post, wing, or guard positions. Football camps emphasize the concept of working to be Men of Excellence and include a chance for campers to tour the Lewis & Clark campus, and the women’s lacrosse prospect-style training sessions are set up similarly to a college-style practice and include discussions on what it takes to become a Pioneer and a campus tour.
