About
Playto Labs Robotics & AI Programs includes live, structured, hands-on projects in robotics, AI, coding, engineering, and real-world problem-solving. The program uses personal robotics kits with real sensors, motors, intelligent systems, and a proprietary, age-aligned hardware architecture for building real robots and AI-enabled projects. Students also work on automation logic, innovation challenges, and a 6-hour aeromodelling workshop conducted in a design-build-fly format.
• Ages: 8–16 years old
• Schedule: 6-hour aeromodelling workshop
Playto Labs is designed as a structured engineering pathway, not a hobby program or screen-only coding class. The curriculum and kits are STEM.org accredited for ages 8–16 and are organized into age-specific tracks: Starter (Age 8–10), Explorer (Age 11–13), and Champion (Age 14–16), with structured skill layering and clear progression at every stage, including a defined long-term engineering pathway from foundational builds to AI-enabled projects and innovation challenges. Programs are offered as live online robotics summer camps with live, 1:1 online classes in Pacific Time and a 1:1 live online class free trial, and the latest robotics kits are shipped to students’ homes for continuous practice and can be used even after the sessions.
The program uses age-specific kits and an engineered, age-appropriate curriculum designed around cognitive readiness, built on a proprietary robotics hardware platform developed in-house. Unique features include 1:1 live classes with experienced robotics mentors, real competition-level projects, skill-based certification, and a recognized robotics certificate upon completion of the robotics summer camp. The program has a rating of 4.6/5, has trained more than 500,000 students across 65 countries, and offers a free live trial class, with Summer 2026 admissions started.
Expert mentors have 10+ years of experience and have been trained across 500,000+ students globally. The leadership team includes Prof. PVM Rao, HOD of Design at IIT Delhi. During the last 3 years, more than 2300 students of IIT Delhi participated in the 6-hour aeromodelling workshop conducted in the design-build-fly format with the help of Skyfi Labs, the parent organization of Playto Labs.
Personal robotics kits are delivered to students’ homes, with free delivery across the Portland metro area and surrounding cities, and students from Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area also join the same live online classes in Pacific Time. Parents have shared testimonials describing their children’s experiences with the Playto kit, sessions, and a free session that explained the concept of robotics for kids.
