Tinker Camp offers specific activities that include a Fabled Friends D&D Campaign, PPS Inservice or Holiday day camps, and Mini Worlds for Kids with Tinker Camp. The program includes scheduled events on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Friday, April 3, 2026 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday, April 6, 2026 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Mini Worlds for Kids with Tinker Camp is offered at Holgate Library.

• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Selected weekday and Saturday options, including 2-hour and 3–6 hour sessions on specific April 2026 dates
• Price: $30.00 for events at Tinker Camp, 6635 N Baltimore Ave, Suite 212; $0.00 for Mini Worlds for Kids with Tinker Camp at Holgate Library; beginning on March 19, 2026 each time a child attends a day camp, like a PPS school holiday or Early Release day, the family will receive $5.00 credit that can be used toward summer camp fees.

The Tinker Camp Board of Directors decided to lower the prices of camps and classes and stated that the Board would like to recommit dedication to serving the community in North Portland. The leadership team includes Co-founder and Executive Director Blake Swensen, Co-Founder and Former Board President Rob van Nood, Director of Development Kathi Fastnow Dirkse, and Instructor Emeritus Denise Slattery. Blake Swensen spent 25 years in the computer business, half of which was running his own business. Rob van Nood is an Oregon licensed educator and received his MAT from Lewis & Clark in 1995. Kathi Fastnow Dirkse was a Producer of Live Events and Theme Park Attractions for Universal Studios, Walt Disney Imagineering and various themed entertainment companies. Instructor Emeritus Denise Slattery is a Certified Master Recycler and an experienced marketer who has developed award-winning marketing, communication and branding strategy for Fortune 500 businesses and non-profits in California, Washington, Michigan, and Oregon. Denise is currently a Board Member to Recycling Advocates of Oregon and previously held a board position at Picture Lab, a Washington State non-profit providing hands-on art literacy education in public schools geared towards students grades K–5, and she regularly presents as a Master Recycler to business organizations participating in Portland Metro's Sustainability at Work Program.

Tinker Camp, Tinkerverse and TinkerEDU are registered trademarks of Tinkerverse. Families can rent the Tinker Camp space for events.
