The program focuses on six pillars: Confidence, Focus, Discipline, Resilience, Respect, and Teamwork.
One parent, Chris Cunningham, states that his family joined Sunrise almost seven years ago and that his kids have grown to know true respect, confidence, and everything that comes from TaekwonDo. Another parent, Jason Holmes, says that his whole family has been with Sunrise for many years and that Master Lee and Master Oh teach kids and young teens values that everyone benefits from. A third parent, Noel Vasquez, notes that the teachers appeared fierce at first but were very kind, friendly, generous, and patient, and that the studio has undergone expansion and remodeling and has gotten much bigger and better.
