Sunrise TaeKwonDo offers taekwondo training through Little Tigers classes, Kids Classes, Teen & Adult Classes, family martial arts classes, Pro Team Classes, and Black Belt Classes. Classes follow a clear curriculum that reinforces foundational skills while gradually introducing new techniques, with instruction that is intentional, progressive, and based on a proven, systemized training model. Programs are built around real technique, disciplined coaching, and structured progression, with a focus on proper mechanics, controlled application, and consistent feedback.

Sunrise TaeKwonDo’s mission is to provide world-class martial arts training to the Portland community through structured programs that build strength, confidence, discipline, and real skill. The school offers high-quality taekwondo instruction through structured programs that develop confidence, discipline, and technical skill, and welcomes beginners, experienced practitioners, and families seeking a supportive training environment. Classes are age-appropriate, instructor-led, and focused on proper technique, control, and awareness, and students progress at their own pace in a structured and positive environment.
Every program is led by certified, experienced instructors whose staff brings years of experience. The environment is family-friendly and is built on respect, accountability, and mutual growth, with students of all ages training alongside peers and mentors who support long-term development. The school focuses on health and fitness benefits including boosting strength, flexibility, overall fitness, improving focus, and reducing stress, along with life skills such as discipline, confidence, respect, focus, leadership, and positive habits.
Programs are designed for complete beginners, and no prior experience is required. For the first class, comfortable athletic clothing is acceptable, and if a uniform is required, Sunrise TaeKwonDo guides students through that process after the trial class.
