Teatro Milagro is Milagro’s touring and arts education program that presents original bilingual plays. The program also offers educational residencies that are brought to diverse and underserved communities across the nation.

Milagro has provided Latino theatre, culture, and arts education since 1985. Its stated mission is providing extraordinary Latino arts, culture, and heritage experiences for the enrichment of all communities. Teatro Milagro is part of Portland’s premiere Latino arts and culture center, which produces a full season of regional or world premieres, including one Spanish-language play each year and a long-running Día de los Muertos signature production that reflects the full spectrum of humanity through the cultural lens of latinidad. Audience testimonials describe Milagro Theatre as offering “authentic, intimate theatre,” “daring and original productions,” and “bold, thought-provoking, unconventional storytelling in voices muted in our society.”
