Teatro Milagro is Milagro’s touring and arts education program that presents original bilingual plays. The program also offers educational residencies that are brought to diverse and underserved communities across the nation.

Milagro is described as Portland's premiere Latino arts and culture center and as the premier Latino arts and culture center of the Pacific Northwest. Milagro produces a full season of regional or world premieres, including one Spanish-language play each year and a long-running Día de los Muertos signature production. Its mission is providing extraordinary Latino arts, culture, and heritage experiences for the enrichment of all communities, and it has done so since 1985. Testimonials describe Milagro Theatre as offering “authentic, intimate theatre,” “daring and original productions,” and “bold, thought-provoking, unconventional storytelling in voices muted in our society,” as well as saying, “You feel back at home in Latin America,” and calling one work “another piece of flawlessly executed performance poetry from Milagro.”
