Prineville AYSO Region 698 Youth Soccer

Prineville AYSO Region 698 Youth Soccer offers youth soccer for children and teens. The program is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization and includes the AYSO PLAY! program.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

The program follows the American Youth Soccer Organization mission of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. It uses AYSO principles that include Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, and Player Development. Prineville AYSO Region 698 Youth Soccer is led locally under the broader AYSO leadership that includes Michael Karon, President of AYSO, who has received the Stack Leadership Award recognizing his impact in the world of sports volunteering. The American Youth Soccer Organization has national events such as the AYSO 2023 National Games and the AYSO National Open Cup 2017. Community involvement for AYSO includes partnerships with Chicago Public Schools, the US Center for Mental Health & Sport, the Northland Sports Alliance, and BEEUP Snacks as the Official Fruit Snack Partner for the 2025–2026 season.
