NBC Basketball Camps at Corban University

NBC Basketball Camps at Corban University offers a Complete Player Intensive Basketball Camp that includes skill mastery, shooting accuracy and increasing percentages, offensive strategy, defensive techniques, and basketball leadership. Campers take part in ball handling, full court transition work, post and guard stations, shooting stations, motion offense, inbound plays, games and tournaments, offensive attack moves, defensive positioning, court awareness, 3v3 games, 5v5 games, an evening program with leadership groups, and a night basketball event including Intensity Night. Leadership training includes goal setting, mental toughness, elevating confidence, maximizing talent, and activities connected to the Golden Ruler Award.

• Schedule: Complete Player Intensive Basketball Camp runs July 20–23, with first-day check-in at 12:30 pm and last-day check-out at 4:00 pm; extended day runs 12:30 pm–9:00 pm on the first day, 9:00 am–9:00 pm on middle days, and 9:00 am–4:00 pm on the last day, and a sample overnight day includes sessions from 7:00 am–10:00 pm.

NBC Basketball Camps at Corban University is led by experienced NBC coaches and staff, with an approximate 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio, and campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience. NBC Camps emphasizes skill mastery, mental toughness, personal faith, gratitude, confidence, goals, self-discipline, building stronger families and friendships, servant leadership, and playing with intensity, grit, resilience, focus, intelligence, joy, and gratitude. The program includes 6–10 hours per day of comprehensive basketball instruction and training and is not for beginning basketball players. NBC Camps is celebrating 55 years of camp excellence, is one of the largest and most respected sports camps in the world, and uses the motto “better players, better people,” with NBC standing for Nothing Beats Commitment. The Golden Ruler Award is the highest achievement at NBC Camps and is designed to teach campers depth, reflection, community service, discipline, and accountability. Equipment guidelines state that players bring their own athletic gear, at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball shoes, and a clearly labeled basketball, and those attempting the Golden Ruler Award are asked to bring a notebook and a Bible, with a recommendation of $40–$60 for snacks, drinks, apparel, and other products from the camp store where available.
