NBC Basketball Camps at this site are led by experienced NBC coaches and staff under camp director Jason Smarr, with an approximate 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio and campers grouped by age, skill, and experience. The Complete Player Intensive Basketball Camp is for athletes with a fair amount of basketball experience who are ready for 6–10 hours per day of instruction and training, including more live-action skill development to prepare for competitive play at the high school and college levels. NBC Camps has 55 years of camp programs and states that NBC is an acronym for Nothing Beats Commitment, with a focus on training the total athlete through basketball and leadership instruction.

NBC Camps emphasize skill mastery, mental toughness, personal faith, and Christian values combined with research on talent development, with a motto of “better players, better people.” The program teaches gratitude, confidence, goals, self-discipline, mental toughness, building stronger families and friendships, and developing a strong personal faith, with servant leadership at the core of coach training. Intensity Night is described as an event involving sweat, music, encouragement, and confidence building, where campers choose their own level of intensity and are not forced to go beyond their abilities.

The Golden Ruler Award is the highest achievement at NBC Camps, with criteria that include journaling, designing workouts, memorization, testing, and essays, and it is used to teach depth, reflection, community service, discipline, and accountability. NBC invites athletes ages 14–18 on international tours through the NBC Travel Teams program. Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury, and in an emergency campers are transported to the nearest hospital. Transportation to and from camp is not provided, and there is no supervision before or after camp hours, so families must arrange timely pick-up and drop-off.

Players are expected to bring their own athletic equipment, at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball shoes, and a clearly labeled basketball, and NBC Camps is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Those who want to attempt the Golden Ruler Award are asked to bring a notebook and a Bible. At some locations there is a camp store that sells snacks, sports drinks, and NBC gear such as t-shirts and sweatshirts, along with a camp bank where parents can deposit money for campers to use.
