Keizer Youth Basketball Association offers a recreational basketball league and a competitive tournament basketball program called Future Celts. The program includes tournament basketball and a recreational basketball program for 1st–8th grade Keizer youth. It also includes opportunities to officiate KYBA Recreational Basketball.
• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Schedule: Recreational season runs from November until March, with 8 weeks of games; registration opens September 1 each year
• Price: $150 for KYBA Recreational Basketball
Recreational evaluations take place at the beginning of November, with practices starting the week after Thanksgiving. Recreational league games start the first Saturday in January, and the season ends either the last Saturday of February or the first Saturday of March. Registration for Tournament Basketball closes October 12, and registration for Recreational Basketball closes November 19. The program holds a Future Celts Night on Tuesday, October 28, from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. The KYBA Board leads the program.
Keizer Youth Basketball Association notes community involvement with sponsors and a Dick's Sporting Goods 20% off discount, which is valid Friday, October 31 through Monday, November 3, and again for a 2025 Dick's Sporting Goods 20% off Discount. Families must show the flyer at the Salem store front upon checkout to receive the discount. The website is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software and is owned by and subject to the Keizer Youth Basketball Association privacy policy. KYBA also accepts donations through KYBA Donations to Keizer Youth Basketball.
