Create A Memory

Create A Memory offers paint your own pottery, pottery painting, and custom pottery painting, along with creating works of art with fused glass. The program also offers an open studio, parties, and summer camps that use the studio’s pottery and fused glass options.

Since opening their doors in 1998 as Salem’s first paint-your-own-pottery and fused glass studio, Create A Memory has offered a large studio space with a fused glass studio and open studio access. The studio lists the price on each piece, and that price includes everything involved. All paints used in the studio are non toxic and clean up with water. Artisans and experts are available in the studio throughout the creative process. The studio is open six days a week, with hours on Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM, and it is closed on Monday. No appointments are required for groups of fewer than six people. Customers purchase the shape they want to decorate, and finished pieces are ready to pick up in one week, with projects to be picked up within 30 days. The studio offers the largest selection of bisque, glazes, and glass in the area, and gift certificates are available.
