Sprague Youth Football offers a tackle-based football program and flag football, including K–2nd Flag, 3rd–4th Grade Flag, 3rd–4th Grade Rookie Tackle, 5th–6th Grade Tackle, 7th Grade Tackle, and 8th Grade Tackle. The program also includes a Youth Camp listed as a Sprague hosted football camp, with camp hours counted as contact time and conditioning hours for tackle players, and a separate registration required from the youth club season. Volunteer coaches in the program are taught by the Sprague High School coaching staff during the camp as a coaches clinic opportunity.

Sprague Youth Football is a part of TVYFL (Tualatin Valley Youth Football League), which is described as a non-profit football club. The TVYFL states that its goal is to provide safe and enjoyable athletic competition, with good sportsmanship, fun developing student athletes, and individual growth listed as its main goals. TVYFL includes over 50 associations and reports having over 6,500 players and more than 500 volunteer coaches. A physical examination is required for tackle and is valid for 2 years from the date of signature by anyone licensed or approved by the state of Oregon, and anyone who may be in contact with the players must complete a background check and federal abuse prevention training.
