Westside Gymnastics Program is part of Westside Dance & Gymnastics Academy and includes recreational gymnastics classes, Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond competitive recreational gymnastics teams, and junior olympic levels 3–10 championship girls and boys artistic gymnastics teams. The program also connects with a youth Acrobatics & Tumbling team, rhythmic gymnastics program, and options such as field trips, birthday party packages, supervised open gym time during parents night out, an indoor play park, and lunch bunch.
• Schedule: Main office hours in the fall are Monday–Friday 9:00am–9:00pm, Saturday 8:30am–5:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am–5:00pm; in the summer they are Monday–Thursday 9:00am–7:00pm, Friday 9:00am–5:00pm, Saturday 9:00am–3:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am–3:00pm for private parties only; registration for the 2026 summer camp schedule opens January 15th at 9:00am via email.

Westside Dance & Gymnastics Academy began in 1974 under the name Portland Gymnastics Center and Carla Webber Studio of Dance and later became Westside Dance & Gymnastics Academy in 1995, adding programs over the years such as a Preschool Program in 1992, the Elite Acro Program in 1993, the Rhythmic gymnastics Program and Westside Pro-Shop in 1997, the Westside Training Center in 2000, Ballet Company in 2006, Hip Hop Company in 2009, the Excel Gymnastics Program in 2012, and the Dance Troupe in 2012. The academy states a mission of providing a safe, fun, positive environment, promoting creativity and fitness while inspiring students to achieve their goals, developing self-esteem by instilling the values of good sportsmanship, self-discipline, respect and accountability, and enriching the lives of students and the community through excellence in education, dance and gymnastics, with a vision to be the Northwest's “Ultimate Academy” and values that include safety, excellence and integrity, quality education and training, and listening with results. The gymnastics program is managed by owner Denise Nontavarnit, with gymnastics leadership that includes Drew Grow as Optional and Compulsory Team Director, Andrea Vidovic as Accelerated Gymnastics Director, Kaelyn Person as Xcel Supervisor, Jenni Owens as Recreational Gymnastics Director, and Luis Nadora as Boys Team Director. The academy notes that it is home to Oregon’s first youth Acrobatics & Tumbling team and an award-winning dance program, and that many students are cross-trained in both dance and gymnastics with exposure to many different dance styles as well as both rhythmic and artistic gymnastics. All gymnastics students and teams participate in an annual Gym Fest showcase, and Westside also offers half or full day camps during winter and spring break, school closures, and throughout the summer, with preschool, dance, and gymnastics camp options, plus an All Day Activity Camp supervised by owner Simone Fallgren.
