New Life Island Youth Camp

New Life Island Youth Camp offers a Christ-centered outdoor camp experience on an island setting. The program has been providing Christian camping since 1972 and continues to focus on reaching campers with the good news of Jesus Christ. Campers experience both the excitement and the tranquility of camping on an island surrounded by natural beauty and peaceful waters.

New Life Island Youth Camp was founded in 1972 and has been involved in Christian camping on the Delaware River since that time. The camp’s mission is to reach campers with the good news of Jesus Christ, and this mission remains central to its work today. The program’s stated values include safety as a first priority, hospitality in which staff treat strangers like family, growth that is spiritual and otherwise, an emphasis on the island’s setting as a reminder of the Creator, glorifying God, teaching biblical truth rather than opinion through what it calls biblical balance, and viewing camp and the Christian life as exciting and fun. The camp notes that what it calls “sign gifts” have ceased and are not for today. Two families live on-site year-round, supported by a board, summer staff, and volunteers who assist the ministry throughout the year.
