Doylestown YMCA Summer Camp

Doylestown YMCA Summer Camp includes Adventure Camp, Jr. Adventure Camp, Teen Travel Adventure Camp, Ability Camps, and a Counselor in Training (CIT) program. Campers take part in sports, games, arts, music, swimming, science, PE, Pizza Friday, and themed weeks such as Journey to the Wild West, The Great Outdoors, Star-Spangled 4th, Science Shenanigans, Sports Mania, Seasons Alive!, Legendary Heroes Week, Battle of the Colors, Eras Exploration, Adventure Carnival, and Gold Medal Summer. Additional options include Travel Camp, field trips, Esports & Tech Summer Camps, Aqua Bucks Swim Camp, and specialty camps such as Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Gymnastics, Kids Triathlon, Nerf Camp, Flag Football, Obstacle Ninja, Skate and Scooter, Soccer, Sports Frenzy, Volleyball, Archery, Campers Create (art), Camp Chefs, Dance, Empower U, Future Builders, Jewelry Making, Kids Yoga, Y Stem, Growing Up Wild, and the Preschool Summer Enrichment Program focused on exploration and discovery with hands-on learning and play, team challenges, and outdoor play.

• Ages: 3–16 years old
• Schedule: Camp weeks run June 15 to August 27, with regular camp days from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM and options for five or three full or half days; half days run 9:00 AM–12:00 PM or 12:30–3:30 PM, and extended hours are available 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM; Teen Travel Adventure Camp runs June 22–August 7, Monday through Thursday, with drop-off generally between 8:45–9:00 AM and pick-up by 4:00 PM unless otherwise noted.
• Price: Private swim lessons during camp cost $43 for members and $71 for non-members; Y Summer Membership (June 1–August 31) is $124 for Youth, $156 for Teen, $439 for Family 1, and $493 for Family 2.

Adventure Camp groups are organized by the grade the child is entering in the 2026–2027 school year, with groups named Cubs, Wolves, Tigers, Lions, and Eagles. Jr. Adventure Camp is offered for ages 3–5, Adventure Camp is offered for grades K–7, the CIT program is for campers entering grades 8–10, Teen Travel Adventure Camp is for grades 6–8, and Ability Camps include full- and half-day options for grades K–7 plus a leadership program for ages 14–21 that requires an application. Preschool Camp for ages 3–5 is available through Growing Up Wild, which is described as a Preschool Summer Enrichment Program with active, hands-on learning and play.

Weekly activities include Pizza Friday, which is included for campers. Private swim lessons are available during or after camp each week, and BCON Meals are available for camp as an add-on, with BCON located in the lobby at Doylestown YMCA. Families can mix and match programs to build a flexible summer schedule, and curbside drop-off and pickup are offered.

The camp uses a Camp Family App with push alerts, news, events, photos, and important updates, and offers Parent Information Sessions via Zoom along with a Welcome to Camp Night. Esports & Tech Summer Camps take place at the Metro Esports Lounge and blend gaming with education to enhance teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. The RCY Sports Center is described as a fully enclosed, climate-controlled indoor field house designed for year-round sports, recreation, and community programming.

River Crossing YMCA is a charitable, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all. Community impact initiatives support veterans, cancer survivors, individuals with special needs, and youth through programs such as free 7th grade memberships and food assistance. Financial assistance is available for camp families.
