Summer Arts Camps operates within an organization led by Executive Director Angela R. Godin and Board President J. Ross Stewart. The program is part of the Community Arts Center of Cambria County, whose mission is to provide an inspiring and creative gathering place where the arts improve the quality of life for everyone. The Center has served as a hub for arts and culture for over 58 years and reaches out to a community of 200,000–250,000 people, as well as thousands of tourists each year from around the world. Accessibility is available upon request for those with disabilities or special needs issues, and services have evolved to reach diverse cultures, disabled communities, and the underserved, with an emphasis on expanding inclusion. The Stutzman Log House, associated with the Center, was dedicated in 1978 and is recognized and registered in Harrisburg as a Pennsylvania Historic Site.
