Far Post opened its doors in Limerick in the fall of 2021. The facility includes a 60,000 square foot air conditioned building with two large indoor turf fields, a massive outdoor synthetic turf field with LED lighting towers, a manicured grass field in a park-like setting, and an 18-acre campus, with a future second massive outdoor turf field with LED lighting towers planned. Camp can be held exclusively inside during poor outdoor air quality or bad weather. The Far Post states that it values each person’s experience at the facility and aims to be a place where top shelf players, recreational players, those learning a sport, and spectators can all spend time. Once families register, the program sends more information about what to expect, and children are asked to arrive ready to run around and take part in the games and events.
