The Far Post Camps offer days filled with soccer, World Cup themed activities and competitions, chess, other smart games, and a variety of sports and camp games. Campers take part in multi-sport play with indoor and outdoor options, including soccer, dodgeball, kickball, football, and more. Some weeks also feature flag football with passing, receiving, route running, and defending, as well as animal themed activities and other sports and games.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Full-day and morning half-day options with available before and after care
• Price: Full Day, 9am to 3:00pm: $69/day. Half Day only, 9am to Noon: $39/day. Before Care (8:00am to 9:00am): +$15/day. After Care (3:00pm to 4:30pm): +$15/day. Lunch: +$10/day. Sibling Discount: $3 off per sibling/day.
Each week of The Far Post Camps day camp celebrates a different main theme, including soccer, the World Cup, football, multisport, and other themes. Families can choose flexible registration options, including a few weeks, a month, select days, or the whole summer, and can select full-day or half-day options. Campers can bring their own lunch or sign up for camp lunch, and registration includes a camp t-shirt. Once a child is registered, more information about what to expect is sent, and the camp notes that children should arrive ready to run around and play a lot of games and events. The Far Post opened its doors in Limerick in the fall of 2021, and its mission states that it is a sports facility for people to kick back and enjoy, whether they are top shelf players, recreational players, learning a sport, or attending as drivers and spectators, and that it values each person’s experience and aims to become their favorite facility.
