About

ArtFusion 19464 offers art classes along with one-day and two-day workshops. The program also runs multi-week classes that focus on visual arts activities.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: One- and two-day workshops and multi-week classes; gallery summer hours starting 6/6 are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9am–4pm, with classes and events sometimes held outside these hours

ArtFusion 19464 is a non-profit community art center where instructors are all professional artists. The gallery hosts rotating exhibits featuring local artists, instructors, and students, with works ranging from impressionism to realism, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional, and in a wide variety of mediums. The gallery presents theme and affiliated artist-only group exhibits in the main gallery and offers solo artist shows, and all shows are open to the public at no charge. ArtFusion 19464 has been serving the community since 2005, began as the Gallery on High, and later created The Gallery School of Pottstown to expand art education programs before incorporating as a charitable nonprofit organization in 2005 and moving to its current facility in 2017. Its mission is to provide opportunities for communities to experience the visual arts in an environment of encouragement and dignity. ArtFusion 19464 works with other nonprofits, the faith community, media, local government, and volunteers to promote education through arts and culture and in youth mentoring.

Families have shared that students at ArtFusion 19464 have learned techniques, received historical background on art and artists, tried new media, and found a community of support and friendship. Parents and students have described the program as a positive influence, a judgement-free zone with freedom to share imaginative ideas, and a place where kids have bloomed and explored their creative side. One parent noted that instructors provide an interactive and supportive environment for students, and another expressed gratitude for the Art and Clay academy program and for opportunities given to youth in the Pottstown community. One student shared, “Art is my passion. I don’t know what I would do without it.”
