Pottsgrove Recreation Board Youth Programs offers activities such as Youth Basketball, Youth Volleyball, Youth Sports, Summer Playground, Swimming Lessons, and Learn to Swim. The program also includes Adult Volleyball, a Community Band, a No Excuses Walk Club, and a CPR Certification Class.

The Pottsgrove Recreation Board is the central recreational organization of the Pottsgroves, and its purpose is to provide recreation for residents of the various Pottsgrove communities. Funding is provided by the three townships and the school district. The mission of the Pottsgrove Recreation Board is to provide places and recreational activities for people to engage in opportunities that promote health, well-being, and community spirit.

Adult Volleyball meets on Tuesday evenings starting September 2nd, and all levels are welcome and they are looking for new players. Youth Basketball is open to children 3–7 years of age. Learn to Swim is open to Pottsgrove children 3 years of age or older, includes Parent/Child classes for children under 3, and also offers an adult-only Learn to Swim class. All musicians are welcome to join the Pottsgrove Community Band, which practices on Monday evenings at PGHS. The CPR Certification Class is offered as part of the program.

The Pottsgrove Recreation Board meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month, with meetings held via Zoom and the April and October meetings held in person, and there are no meetings in July or December. The Executive Director is Pam Ball. Recreation Board members are Patti Grimm (School Board Representative), Bill Keohane (Lower Pottsgrove Commissioner), Gerilyn Keohane (Lower Citizen Representative), Al Leach (Upper Pottsgrove Commissioner), Brad Mayberry (President & West Citizen Representative), Martin Schreiber (School Board Citizen Representative), Michelle Thompson (Vice President & Upper Citizen Representative), and Tim Vey (West Pottsgrove Commissioner).
