The Outdoor Campus Sioux Falls Youth Hunting Programs offers Hunting 101 - Turkey Program, Hunting 101 - Deer Program, and Hunting 101 – Archery Deer Program. The Turkey and Deer programs require youth to be accompanied by an adult, and participants are only allowed to hunt with a GFP Employee or GFP Sanctioned Volunteer Mentor. The Archery Deer Program is for youth age 15 years or older who are first time archery hunters.

- Hunting 101 - Turkey Program — Youth · Selection is based on completion of the attached application. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. The student will only be allowed to hunt with a GFP Employee or GFP Sanctioned Volunteer Mentor.
- Hunting 101 - Deer Program — Youth · Selection is based on completion of the attached application. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. The student will only be allowed to hunt with a GFP Employee or GFP Sanctioned Volunteer Mentor.
- Hunting 101 – Archery Deer Program — 15 years or older; first time archery hunters

About the provider
The purpose of The Outdoor Campus in Sioux Falls is to provide hands-on experiences in hunting, fishing, outdoor skills, and conservation science. Programming is free.
- Loaner Equipment — All Use Agreements can be printed, filled out, and brought in prior to check out, or Campus/GFP Region 3 Staff can provide a hard copy upon arrival.
- Critter Crate Booklet — Loaner equipment and loaner crates for free checkout with signed Crate Use Agreement.
- Snowshoes — Can be checked out at The Campus by the pair with the signing of the Snowshoe Use Agreement.
- Canada Goose Field Decoy Loaner Trailer — Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. The trailer can be checked out for up to 5 days.
- Life Jackets
- Live Traps — Can be checked out for up to 2 weeks at a time with the signing of the Trap Use Agreement. Check out is available year-round. One trap may be checked out by an individual at a time.
- Waterfowl Loaner Bags

Programming is free. Youth must be accompanied by an adult for the Hunting 101 - Turkey Program and Hunting 101 - Deer Program. Participants in the Hunting 101 – Archery Deer Program must be age 15 years or older and be first time archery hunters. Participants will only be allowed to hunt with a GFP Employee or GFP Sanctioned Volunteer Mentor. Please make sure you have a valid hunting license and understand all rules and regulations prior to going hunting.
