About
ZooCamp takes place across the Great Plains Zoo and the Butterfly House & Aquarium campuses and is connected with the Sioux Falls Zoo & Aquarium (SFZA). At the Great Plains Zoo campus, ZooCamp participants can visit animals from seven continents, including red wolves, lions, rhinos, penguins, and giraffes. At the Butterfly House & Aquarium campus, ZooCamp includes access to South Dakota's largest public saltwater aquarium and the state's only butterfly conservatory ecosystem. ZooCamp registration is open for 2026.
