Franklin Family Taekwondo offers Taekwondo training, self defense, and several program options, including an After-School Program, a Traditional Program, a Homeschool program, Taekwondo Camps, and Ninja Camps. Classes can include optional games and dodgeball after class. Franklin Family Taekwondo is a full-service, traditional martial arts studio that is part of the Choong Sil Kwan Taekwondo Federation and is a branch of the ITF that does not train Olympic Style, or WT.

Franklin Family Taekwondo states that it focuses on hard work and self-improvement in a family-centered environment. The studio is run by 5th Degree Black Belt Mrs. Karla Zuercher, who is the Owner and Chief Instructor. The leadership team also includes Assistant Instructors Mr. Tim Grove, Mrs. Stephanie Stanley, and Ms. Amanda Brunotts. Mrs. Zuercher is a 5th degree Black Belt and fully certified instructor of the Choong Sil Taekwondo Federation (CTF). Mr. Grove received his 5th degree Black Belt in May of 2025, Mrs. Stanley received her 2nd degree Black Belt in February of 2022, and Ms. Brunotts is a 2nd degree Black Belt.
Franklin Family Taekwondo notes that students must truly earn their next rank, use character sheets for promotion at each rank, and have a character word at each rank. The studio offers an After-School Program with structured time and disciplined and engaging activities. Families can try two weeks of classes for free for the Traditional Program, and can try two weeks of classes for free with no contracts for the Homeschool program. Camps combine Taekwondo training with ninja activities, and the studio offers a family-centered environment with a focus on discipline and respect.
Several instructors and students at Franklin Family Taekwondo compete internationally with the United States CTF Taekwondo Team, and students can earn a spot on this team. Ms. Zuercher is a World Champion who has won several US CTF National Championships and has competed with the United States CTF International Team twice, earning a bronze medal in England at the 2023 World Championships and a gold medal in Scotland at the 2025 World Championships. At the 2025 World Championships in Scotland, Ms. Zuercher won gold, Mr. Grove won silver, and Ms. Brunotts won bronze. Mr. Grove has won many medals at national and international competitions, including a silver medal at the 2025 World Championships in Scotland, and Ms. Brunotts has won multiple CTF National Championships and a bronze medal at the 2025 World Championships in Scotland.
