West Austin Dance Academy

West Austin Dance Academy offers classes in dance styles including ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, tumbling/acrobatics, leaps and turns, and musical theater. The program includes recreational classes, drill team prep, competitive teams, and elite pre-professional training.

West Austin Dance Academy is led by studio owner Amy Reynolds, a fourth-generation studio owner with a lifetime of dance experience. Amy Reynolds danced professionally for over 15 years, judged top national competitions, and directed elite teams. The studio describes itself as Bee Cave’s premier dance destination, inspiring dancers ages 2 to 18 to move, grow, and shine, and states that it offers instruction in every style of dance designed to meet each dancer where they are and help them reach their fullest potential. The studio states that it is built on the values of teamwork, family, and confidence, and that it nurtures technical skill while celebrating each dancer’s unique style, sparkle, and artistry. West Austin Dance Academy reports that dancers from the studio have gone on to become drill team captains, perform with major artists, appear in national commercials, compete at award shows, join prestigious college dance programs, and sign with leading agencies in Los Angeles and New York City.
