The organization states that public art is central to its mission and that it enriches the community, builds cultural identity, sparks conversation, and strengthens the place they call home. It supports local artists, celebrates creativity, and builds community through events, exhibitions, and public art, and it offers open calls for local artists. The gallery features work of local artists and student artwork alongside professional artists, and donations support local artists, strengthen community programs, and keep the creative space operating.

One artist described the gallery space as beautiful and said it shows artwork better than other galleries in and around Austin, and also noted the exhibition of student artwork alongside professional artists. Another visitor described the space as inviting and said there is always a variety of art on display, including photography, pottery, and collage. A third artist said they value the opportunity to exhibit work in the gallery and to talk with staff about exhibitions and art opportunities in the area, as well as to see and connect with other local artists.
