About
My Time Kids Academy offers activities such as Spanish, gymnastics, music, art, gardening, dance, Snapology (LEGO and STEM), yoga, soccer, cooking, and open play. Children also take part in Music & Instruments, Nature & Science Club: Sprouts, Art Studio, STEM Labs, languages, gym games, outdoor open play, thematic activities, bounce houses, dance parties, and time in a Discovery Room. The program includes enrichment classes such as gymnastics, music lessons, art, and Spanish as part of tuition.

My Time Kids Academy offers thoughtfully designed early education for ages 2.5 through early elementary, with year-round licensed preschool for ages 3–6 years, as well as a summer program for ages 2.5–8 years old. The program includes licensed private preschool plus licensed Kindergarten and Kinder Bridge programs that exceed state standards, along with after-school enrichment classes, school holiday break camps, and private and small-group enrichment classes after school in areas such as dance, Spanish, yoga, Snapology (LEGO/STEM), and gymnastics. It uses an active, hands-on, multi-sensory approach with a curriculum that balances teacher- and child-guided learning through playful activities that encourage exploration and discovery, and it maintains low student-to-teacher ratios of 1:3 or 1:5 with small class sizes.
The environment is described as clean, bright, and inviting for active children, with indoor and outdoor dramatic play areas and an indoor gym for creative movement, gymnastics, and physical education. The mission of My Time Kids Academy is to support each child’s growth through intentional, experiential learning, meaningful relationships, and deep respect for childhood. The staff includes educated and highly trained professionals with extensive experience in early childhood and/or early elementary education, including professional and degreed teachers.
The founder, known as “Miss Lorie,” holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas in Applied Learning & Development with a specialization in Reading and English as a Second Language (ESL). Lorie has over 25 years of experience teaching children in elementary and preschool and is an active volunteer in the Lakeway area. The program is a year-round, licensed preschool for ages 3–6 years and operates as a licensed private preschool with licensed Kindergarten and Kinder Bridge programs.
